The federation said that the commemorative badge will be handed over to football activists, who contributed to developing football in Uzbekistan, upbringing young football players, as well as raising authority of Uzbekistan at international arena.

Executive Committee of the UFF or Bureau of the Executive Committee of the UFF adopts decision on awarding the badge. The first badge was handed over to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. Another badge of the UFF was handed over to the FIFA President Sepp Blatter.

During the ceremony, 36 football specialists of Uzbekistan, football veterans, coaches and journalists were awarded with the badge. Among them are Vadim Abramov, Mirdjalol Kasimov, Ravshan Irmatov, Rustam Akramov, Samvel Babayan, and others.
