Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Board of Octobank Iskandar Tursunov increased his stake in the bank to 97.2%, according to the Corporate Information Portal.

According to the bank, Iskandar Tursunov increased his stake in Octobank from 96.6% to 97.2%.

In August 2023, the chairman of the board of the bank, Iskandar Tursunov, increased his stake in the bank from 19.9% to 72.05%. He bought 52.1% of the bank’s shares from Sarvar Fayziev for 52.2 billion soums.

In September 2023, shareholders decided to rename the financial organization to Octabank.
