Referring to cultural, historical and economic commonalties between the two countries, the Iranian official said there are ample areas of economic cooperation between the two countries which should be further explored and called on the two sides’ officials to take immediate action to this end.
To further broaden and bolster economic cooperation, he called for removal of red-tapes and outdated paper work which only obstruct expansion of economic cooperation between the two sides.
The Uzbek deputy prime minister, for his part, welcomed the visit of the Iranian delegation to his country and underlined that exchange of delegations between the two countries is a sign of determination of both sides’ officials to promote bilateral ties.
Uzbekistan welcomes expansion of all-out cooperation with Iran and is ready to new methods to broaden rail, land and air transportation, IRNA reported.
