Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian airline IrAero has opened a new route from Samarkand International Airport to the capital of Tatarstan, the city of Kazan.
"From 20 September, flights to / from Samarkand will be operated once a week on Tuesdays. Until the end of October, as part of the spring-summer season 2022, aircraft will fly from Samarkand to Kazan at 18:30 local time," the statement of the Uzbekistan Airport said.
Passenger air transportation is carried out on Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. Travel time in one direction is 3 hours 40 minutes.
IrAero Airlines is a Russian airline founded in 1999 and based at Irkutsk International Airport. The company's fleet consists of such aircraft as Airbus A319, Superjet 100, Bombardier CRJ-200LR, as well as Antonov passenger, cargo-passenger and cargo aircraft.
