Ipoteka Bank’s capital makes up 106bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Capital of the Ipoteka Bank made up 106 billion soums as of 1 October 2009, or grew by 10 billion soums compared to the beginning of the year.

The charter capital of the bank made up 54.7 billion soums and number of shareholders comprised of 15,200 individuals and legal entities.

Assets of Ipoteka Bank grew by 165 billion soums in January-June 2009 to 818 billion soums as of 1 October 2009.

The balance of credit investments grew by 62.4 billion soums to 404.2 billion soums and deposit base rose by 115.1 billion soums to 474.9 billion soums.

Deposits of population increased by 32.8 billion soums to 102.7 billion soums, the bank said.

Ipoteka Bank issued 6 billion soums to finance advance payments and purchase of fruits and vegetables to processing enterprises and agrofirms.

The bank said it used US$900,000 from credit line of the Islam Development Bank in nine months of 2009 and it is planning to utilize US$1.5 million of foreign investments by the end of 2009.

Ipoteka Bank issued loans to production of food products for 31.8 billion soums. The bank allocated 30.3 billion soums to support small businesses, producing non-food products.

Overall, the bank issued 126 billion soums to small businesses in the reporting period, of which 13.4 billion soums to businesswoment, 1.6 billion soums to young families to develop their own businesses and 53 million soums to organize outwork.
