Shareholders of Ipoteka Bank (Mortgage Bank) adopted decision to increase charter capital to 67 billion soums. The decision was adopted to implement resolution of the Uzbek President on increase capitalization of banks and stir up their participation in investment processes on modernization of economy.
The resolution allocated 25 billion soums to bank, of which 15 billion were issued to increase authorized capital and 10 billion soums to open credit line to increase mortgage crediting.
Assets of Ipoteka Bank increased by 28.8% as of 1 August 2007 compared to the beginning of the year. The assets made up 570.4 billion soums.
The bank’s capital comprised 43.9 billion soums, including formed charter capital was 11 billion soums.
Currently, Ipoteka Bank has 38 branched in all regions of Uzbekistan, 153 mini-banks and 147 currency exchange points, as well as 61 remittance points and 600 saving and cash offices.
