Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the results for 2024, the net loss of "Ipoteka-Bank" amounted to 240.2 billion soums, compared to a profit of 818.9 billion soums in 2023, marking a 129.3% decrease.
The bank’s assets grew by 9.3%, reaching 52.1 trillion soums, while its capital decreased by 3.2%, totaling 7.3 trillion soums.
The bank’s interest income exceeded 10.6 trillion soums, an increase of 34.4%, while non-interest income fell by 11.6%, amounting to 2.6 trillion soums.
The estimated potential losses from loans and leasing increased from 2.1 trillion to 3.0 trillion soums. The estimate of potential losses from other assets grew from 644.8 billion to 780.1 billion soums.
By the end of 2024, the bank’s loan portfolio totaled 35.1 trillion soums, which is 5.8% lower compared to the previous year. The share of non-performing loans (NPL) rose from 4.7% to 10.2%.
