As of October 1 2007, the Ipoteka Bank (Mortgage Bank) Joint-Stock Commercial Innovative Bank had some 50,000 small business entities as clients, the bank’s press service said.

In total in the first nine months of this year all divisions of Ipoteka Bank issued some 52 billion soums (US$40.737 million) for their support, including the bank’s credit investments in small businesses to the amount of 59.2 billion soums, which is about 24.8 per cent of the total sum of the bank’s credit investments..

Moreover, according to the procedure of micro-crediting of small business and private enterprise entities, Ipoteka Bank gave out some 3.625 billion soums in micro-credits in the reporting period.
