Ipoteka Bank of Uzbekistan and Eximbank of China signed agreement for US$17.293 million from soft loan of China to the member-states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The funds allocated to the Uzbek bank will be used to realize investment project "Equipment habitations of Uzbekistan with water meters".

The project envisages purchases and installation of hot and cold meters due to credits of the Chinese bank. This will allow to set strong control over water consumption and achieve economy of water.
