Ipak Yuli Bank has begun to issue VISA VSDC cards, according to the bank’s press service. On 16 July 2006, as an affiliated member of the Visa International payment system, Ipak Yuli Bank started to issue international Visa Classic cards.

Ipak Yuli Bank’s Visa cards have an inserted micro-chip, which practically eliminates any possibility of card forgery and ensures the safety of payments involving plastic cards.

Chip-based cards, also referred to as smart cards, have a higher level of protection against unsanctioned access to the client’s account. Along with the micro-chip, VISA VSDC cards now have a magnetic stripe, which allows their use at retail trade points not equipped by smart-card terminals.
