Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov held a meeting with the head of the IOC during the IOC General Assembly in the Czech Republic.

During the meeting, Oybek Kasimov invited Thomas Bach to visit Uzbekistan. IOC President accepted the invitation and said that he would visit Uzbekistan in March 2018 after the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang (South Korea).
