Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of investment projects planned for implementation in Khorezm region.

For the region, together with foreign investors, dozens of projects are being formed in such key industries as mechanical engineering, urban planning, chemistry, textile production, building materials, medicine, and the food industry. The presentation provides information on 18 projects with a total value of more than $660 million.

In particular, projects are being developed for the production of electric trucks, nickel sulfate for batteries, architectural glass, glass containers, building materials, paints and varnishes and fabrics, which will significantly affect the economic and social development of the region and create thousands of jobs. The construction of hotels, hospitals, entertainment facilities and roads, the development of ecotourism and fish farming will improve the well-being of the population.

The head of state talked with the initiators of these projects - foreign investors and local entrepreneurs. The economic efficiency of projects was discussed, instructions were given on how to speed them up and create additional conditions for entrepreneurs.
