Libramont Fair takes place each year in Belgian city of Libramont-2012 and it is largest event in Europe. The fair presents products of agriculture equipment producers. This year, its main topic was processing of waste and renewable energy.

The event takes place in four directions – agriculture machinery and equipment, husbandry complex, agro-industrial complex and horticulture. Over 200,000 people visit the exhibition each year and attended by 1,500 firms of Europe.

During the presentation, the participants were informed about main direction of state policy in development of agriculture sector, projects at free industrial and economic zone “Navoi” and special industrial zone “Angren”, which also envisage attraction of foreign technologies. The interested sides were provided with information on tax, customs and other preferences for foreign investors.

The report said that European companies expressed interest in developing of cooperation with Uzbekistan in this direction. Joskin, Menart, Ilvo (Belgium), Estesia, Delavie (France) and others expressed readiness to set direct contacts with the Uzbek companies.
