Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 September 2018, Tashkent will host the First International Textile Conference of Uzbekistan, which is organized by the Uzbek textile and sewing and knitting industry association Uztekstilprom together with the exhibition company Iteca Exhibitions.
The conference “Uzbekistan Textile Conference: is organized under the auspices of the International Textile Industry Conference (ITMF), which will be held within the framework of the International Exhibition "Uztextile Expo 2018" and will be devoted to the development of the textile industry.
It is expected that experts and representatives of local and foreign textile and cotton organization will attend the event.
Representatives of the textile business from Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, China, Russia, India, Japan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the USA, France, Russia, and more than 30 countries will take part in the conference.
"Uzbekistan Textile Conference" will be devoted to the latest trends in the industry, the development of international textile technologies, certification and digital marketing, scientific research in the development of "smart" textiles.
The participants will discuss the development trends of textile clusters, projects for implementation of environmental cotton, the issues of certification of textile products for the European market, the expansion of the range of textile products, the increase in the export volume, the current state and prospects of the world textile industry, the legal regulation of relations in the field of electronic commerce, digital technologies in the textile and clothing industry, trends in the fashion industry.
It is also planned to consider the Bangladeshi model for the growth of the textile industry in Uzbekistan.
The event will present unique opportunities for creative business provided by Uzbek and international textile companies, as well as advantages in the supply of ready-made clothing in comparison with traditional analog methods.
Participants of the event, along with a discussion of the current state and prospects of the world cotton fiber market, will become acquainted with the conditions created for attracting foreign investments to the textile industry of Uzbekistan.
Today in Uzbekistan there are more than 150 joint enterprises of textile and clothing and knitwear industry of which 50 with 100% foreign capital. Turkey, Korea, China, Singapore, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, and Russia directed the large volume of investments to the industry. The enterprises of the textile and apparel-knitting industry account for 4.6% of the country’s GDP.
