The fair and exchange is aimed at promoting cooperation between and within the industries. The fair and exchange are held in two stages, the first being the regional and sector-wise fair and exchange.

During the first stage, held in May-July, 1,450 enterprises signed over 2,640 contracts to purchase and supply products worth 1.5 trillion soums.

Some 715 local enterprises and over 650 foreign companies and organizations from 51 states are participating at the second stage of the event.

The organizers are planning to hold over 60 presentations of industrial sectors, as well as academic institutes developing innovative projects will be held during the fair.
