Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 April, the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia" started its work in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The event was first organized in Tashkent in 2021 and in two years has established itself as an effective platform for the development of interregional interaction and industrial cooperation. Over the years, more than 30 major business events and over 500 meetings between entrepreneurs have been held on the sidelines of the large-scale exposition, as a result of which more than 600 agreements worth over US$7 billion have been reached.

“The current INNOPROM-2023 will be distinguished by the saturation of direct business contacts. It was noted that this year INNOPROM opens the agenda of large investment economic and industrial prospects not only for Uzbekistan, but for the entire Central Asian region.

The key objectives of the event are to promote the latest technologies and developments in the industry, to establish contacts between industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan and other countries. Signing of a solid package of investment agreements and trade contracts is expected.

During the briefing, special attention was paid to the rich program of the exhibition. Thus, panel sessions, discussions, round tables and business meetings are planned on its margins. Dialogue platforms will focus the attention of experts on the main issues of industrial production and building up multifaceted interaction between the countries of the region. B2B meetings will allow participants to replenish their notebooks with new business contacts.

As a result of the briefing, the main priority of this year’s event was highlighted - an active dialogue between regions and countries, the search for potential common ground in the interests of peaceful development.

On the same day, a tour of all pavilions of the exhibition was organized for media representatives, where they could get acquainted in detail with the industrial and technological potential of industries, regions and companies of the participating countries.
