Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on tourism development will hold the 3rd International Guide Forum “Silk Road: Cooperation without Borders” on 21-22 February 2019. This event is dedicated to the celebration of World Guide Day.
The key task of the Forum is to establish a constructive dialogue and unite efforts between representatives (guides and stakeholders) of countries, which will create a solid basis for further joint cooperation, as well as a unique opportunity to develop new joint interesting projects.
This year the Forum will be held in the format of three business areas - “International Scientific and Practical Conference“ Silk Road: Cooperation without Border ””, “Guide Laboratory: Master Classes”, “Exposition Part”. The Forum will bring together more than 150 experts in the field of tourism and sightseeing activities from the regions of Uzbekistan and foreign countries.
For the first time, the Forum will be attended by representatives of the National Associations of Guides of Spain, France, Israel, India, Turkey, Italy, as well as representatives of a leading vocational educational institution of the United States and others. The Forum will summarize the photo contest "Uzbekistan - a country of tourism", which was attended by the best photo guides.
According to the results of the forum, recommendations will be prepared to improve the effectiveness of the guides, the development of educational and scientific manuals, methodical and practical recommendations, the implementation of new projects, and memorandums of cooperation signed between the State Unitary Enterprise "Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism" and the National Associations of Guides of India and Spain and France.
