One of the goals of the forum is to generate a joint strategy on development of system, granting the social services aimed at maintenance of social protection and social inclusion of families, children and youth.

For the first time this year, the declaration has been made about necessity to promote social protection system, such as social work, family and children support services, service of early intervention, inclusive education. Also, an idea about necessity of adoption of the law on the “Guarantees of the rights of the child” has been put forward.

As a result of several meetings and joint actions of RCSAC, the Republican Children Foundation “You Are Not Alone” and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Uzbekistan, and also considering that the Ministry and the National Center of Rehabilitation and Prosthetics of people with disabilities also organize annual republican conferences on social protection, medical labor examination and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, it was proposed to hold large-scale forum on important issues of social protection system development, including continuity of social work, attracting children and adults.

During the two-day forum, the participants plan to: a) analyze legislative regulation of access of family, children and youth to social services, maintenance of the social help and protection; b) co-ordinate efforts of national institutes in solution of problems of family arrangement, inclusive education, employment, prevention of youth rights abuse in social-legal risk, provision of accessibility and medical-social rehabilitation; c) To find new ways and methods of maintenance of social inclusion and protection of children and youth of socially vulnerable groups in Uzbekistan.

Organizers of the VI International forum are the Republican center of social adaptation of children (RCSAC), the Republican Children Foundation “You Are Not Alone”, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, the National Human Rights Center, the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan, UNICEF, UNESCO.
