Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An opening ceremony of the IV PROlogue International Film Festival was held on 27 November in the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Academic Theater. The same evening, the international gala premiere of the SCORPION film also took place.

As part of the opening ceremony of the PROlogue festival, eminent guests of domestic and foreign cinema took part. Among the guests are People’s Artist of Russia and Oscar-winner Vladimir Menshov, Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Porechenkov, actor Sergey Shakurov.

Another star guest born in Tashkent is a talented theater and film actor, honored artist of Russia Farhad Makhmudov, who played one of the main roles in the SCORPION thriller.

Thriller SCORPION was filmed in Tashkent, Bukhara, St. Petersburg and Morocco. Such famous actors as Farhod Makhmudov, Karim Mirhodiev, Yulduz Radjabova, Rano Shodieva, as well as the famous Turkish actor Murat Yıldırım and the star of Russian cinema Vyacheslav Razbegaev were involved in the film about international crime among youth. The screenplay was written by Bob Underwood (USA), and the operator of the picture is Max Tzui (Germany).

The main musical composition of the picture was performed by the famous Russian singer Valeria.

The IV International Film Festival PROlogue is organized by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the National Agency Uzbekkino, Tashkent city administration, the Center for the Development of Cinematography, the Council of Young Cinematographers, the National Film Commission of Uzbekistan.
