Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation led by the leadership of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights takes part in the 22nd annual conference of the International Competitive Network (ICN) organized by the National Commission for Markets and Competition of Spain on 17-21 October (CNMC).

As part of this international event, on 20 October, 2023, a meeting was held at the management level between representatives of the delegation of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan and officials of the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Control of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, within the framework of the Protocol on Cooperation concluded between the two departments in August of this year, as well as in accordance with the Action Plan developed by the Committee in order to implement the measures specified in this Protocol, an agreement was reached to combat monopoly and create a favorable competitive environment, to study best practices in the field of regulation and development of consumer protection, as well as the implementation of projects aimed at establishing future cooperation and developing cooperative relations.
