Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international conference of analytical centers from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), titled “New Agenda for Long-Term Cooperation,” has commenced at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives, and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in collaboration with the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The conference aims to deeply analyze processes within the CIS states, explore perspectives and untapped opportunities, and jointly assess potential risks to sustainable development.

During the discussions, a wide range of topics related to cooperation within the CIS in the current context is being addressed, including prospects for economic cooperation, the "green" transition, industrial cooperation, trade, transport, energy, and food security, as well as the cultural and humanitarian aspects of collaboration.
