Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – International chess tournament for the prize of the President of Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent.

Foreign chess players with a FIDE rating of 1800 and above as of 1 October 2021 are allowed to participate, for women - 1600 and above. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan.

The tournament will be held according to the Swiss system in 10 rounds with a time control of 90 minutes per game with the addition of 30 seconds for each move made, starting from the first.

On 13, 14 and 16 November, participants will play two rounds a day. A blitz tournament is scheduled for 11 November.
