Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

During the visit, First Deputy Minister Komiljon Karimov held a meeting with the leadership of the National Research University "MPEI".

The parties discussed issues of further improving the activities of the Tashkent branch of this university, a leader in the field of energy in Russia, strengthening its material and technical base, and also agreed on a number of promising practical measures in this direction.
