InterContinental leaves Uzbekistan’s hotels market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- InterContinental Hotel in Tashkent wrapped up its activity in Uzbekistan on 28 May 2012 as the agreement of British company with the Uzbek side expired.

Official website of InterContinental said that from 28 May the hotel will have other name and management. Hotel will be named as InContinental Tashkent Hotel.

The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan, which owns hotel’s building, will consider proposals from international companies on management of hotel.

InterContinental Hotel was only five-star hotel in Tashkent and it had worked in Uzbekistan for 15 years.
