Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian company Inter RAO has been unable to start exporting electricity to Uzbekistan, according to TASS.
Alexandra Panina, a board member of Inter RAO, stated during the All-Russian Tariff Conference that deliveries to Uzbekistan had not materialized.
She explained, "No, they haven't started for the same reasons — Kazakhstan is not providing the necessary network capacity. However, supplies to Kyrgyzstan are continuing."
Earlier, there were reports that Inter RAO had planned to begin electricity exports to Uzbekistan in the fall of 2024.
