Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 21 November, a quiz dedicated to International Students’ Day took place in Tashkent, organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Uzbekistan and the Union of Youth of the National Research University of Electrical Engineering (NIU MPEI). The competition saw the participation of teams from Russian university branches operating in Uzbekistan.

The participants competed in seven rounds, showcasing their knowledge in various fields: guessing movies and songs by Russian artists, identifying original performers based on cover versions, deciphering idiomatic expressions represented by images generated by neural networks, continuing popular song lyrics, and completing logical and intuitive tasks.

The event gathered over 100 participants and was remembered for its vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.

Winners:

1st place: NIU MPEI Branch in Tashkent
2nd place: Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NIU) Branch in Tashkent
3rd place: Tashkent Branch of the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov

The winners were awarded prizes and certificates, and all participants received certificates. The quiz became a memorable event in student life and helped strengthen friendly ties between students from different universities.
