Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the period from January to May 2025, the volume of insurance services provided in Uzbekistan reached 4.5 trillion soums, exceeding the figure for the same period last year by 1.1 trillion soums, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

The largest share of the insurance market was made up of services related to accident insurance, motor vehicle and other transport insurance, as well as cargo and property insurance.

These sectors together accounted for 88.1% of the total volume of insurance services provided.

Life insurance accounted for 6.4% of the market during the reporting period, while reinsurance services made up 5.5%.
