The volume of premiums on voluntary insurance products made up 107.53 billion soums in the reporting period (+22) and mandatory insurance products – 56.373 billion soums (+24%).

The companies increased insurance payouts by 20% year-on-year in January-March 2016 – to 37.231 billion soums. The volume of payouts on voluntary insurance products reached 22.809 billion soums (+10%) and mandatory insurance products – 14.422 billion soums (+41%).

Investments of insurance companies of Uzbekistan exceeded 773.076 billion soums (+21%), of which deposits were 365.166 billion soums (+21%), securities – 310.7 billion soums (+21%), loans – 8.122 billion soums (+14%), real estate – 36.832 billion soums (+25%). At the same time, the companies invested 47.211 billion soums to charter capital of the enterprises (+6%) and other investments made up – 5.044 billion soums (+ 2.9 times).

Aggregate charter capital of insurance companies rose by 16% year-on-year to 419.475 billion soums as of the end of the first quarter of 2016.
