Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to further improve the system for providing public services in the field of cadastre as part of the broad involvement of the private sector in areas regulated by the state" was adopted.

From 1 January 2020, in Tashkent region and the city of Tashkent, as an experiment, the institute of a cadastral real estate engineer was introduced.

As part of the experiment, real estate cadastral engineers with a qualification certificate are given the right to prepare a primary cadastral file for real estate objects. At the same time, the process of its preparation is carried out through a special automated information system, and monitoring is carried out by the Cadastre Agency.

A real estate cadastral engineer carries out his activities by concluding an employment contract with legal entities or as an individual entrepreneur.

The institute of a real estate cadastral engineer in relation to real estate objects included in the housing stock is being introduced from 1 October 2023 in Tashkent, Tashkent, Navoi, Namangan, Ferghana and Khorezm regions. And from 1 July 2024, it will be introduced in all regions of the republic.

Amendments and additions are made to some RLAs regarding:

expanding the areas of specialization that a cadastral engineer can engage in;

reducing the time spent by cadastral engineers from applying for a certificate to passing a qualifying exam;

extending the time for passing the qualifying exam;

establishing deadlines for the preparation of cadastral documents for perennial plantations.
