Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An innovative week of women’s entrepreneurship has been launched in Tashkent region. Within the framework of the Week, which will be held in Kibray District, the Innovative Fair of Women Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs will take place.

The week is held by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Hunarmand Association, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Center of Women Inventors, is aimed at attracting women to entrepreneurship and handicrafts, introducing an innovative approach to activities, and implementing new projects in region.

Over 400 unemployed women and women with disabilities who live in 86 mahallas of the capital region and want to start their own business and engage in handicrafts will take part in the week of innovative entrepreneurship.

It is planned to hold master classes on 12 directions for handicapped women and those, who live in difficult social conditions.

Participants of the master classes will be attached to the mentors of the Association "Hunarmand" by their interest.

During the Week, a Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed between the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and the Hunarmand Association.
