India beats Uzbekistan in AFC U-16 Women’s Championship qualifiers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- India defeated Uzbekistan 3-1 in the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2009 qualifiers in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 9 November.
Two last gasp goals from Elangbam Devi (86) and Salam Devi (90+2) helped India clinch their thrilling encounter against Uzbekistan.
The late flurry of action took place after Yumlembam Devi’s 32nd minute opener was cancelled by Selime Gugueva in the 41st minute.
