Uzbekistan Pochtasi said that the company introduced automated system of electronic money transfer in 2005.
Currently, the system covers all 14 territorial branches with 945 communication offices, which are connected to the system and have access to international IFS network of Universal Postal Union.
The remittance exchanged was launched with Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Moldavia. The company is working on expanding the services to other countries.
Uzbekistan Pochtasi also introduced hybrid money transfer system in March 2012, which speeds up delivery of remittances to clients.
