Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The State Committee for Tourism Development pays special attention to the development of inclusive tourism (tourism without obstacles, paratourism) and, in partnership with the Society of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, is implementing a charity project "Travel for All."
Within the framework of the 25th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road”, a trip was organized for 25 people with disabilities living in the Namangan region to the city of Tashkent.
Travel expenses (transportation, meals, hotel, guides, etc.) were covered by charity funds received to the account of Center for tourist services under the State Committee for Tourism, as well as sponsorship from various organizations.
For two days, travelers visited the sights (Khast-Imam complex, Navruz park, Humo Arena complex, etc.) in Tashkent, as well as the opening ceremony of the 25th Tashkent International Tourism Fair.
During the trip, the current state of the infrastructure related to this type of tourism was studied and measures for its development were planned.
