Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts from the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Research (IMRI) conducted an analysis to identify the highest growth in real wages by economic sector in 2016 prices.
The results of the analysis revealed:
In the period under review, the highest rates of growth in real average monthly wages were observed in the following areas: finance (167.5%), information technology and communications (91.0%), healthcare (44.2%), and logistics (40.0%). ).
Real wages grew the least in trade (0.2%), construction (16.0%) and the arts (17.1%).
Compared to prices in 2016, real wages increased by 52.6%.
In the context of the rapid development of digitalization and market conditions, increasing the mobility of labor resources becomes very relevant. Today, retraining is a simple and very inexpensive phenomenon.
IMRI experts analyzed 45 existing educational centers that offer training in areas such as finance, IT and logistics. The analysis revealed:
The average duration of courses in finance is 4 months, monthly payment averages 1 million soums.
So, having spent an average of 4 million soums on training and finding a job in a specialty, a person will recoup in a maximum of 1.5 months the amount he spent on getting an education (personal expenses are not taken into account).
The average duration of courses in the IT field is 6.5 months with an average price of 1.5 million soums per month.
Consequently, once employed, training costs will pay off in an average of 2-3 months.
The training period for a dispatcher is on average 1 month at a cost of 2.3 million soums. Today, specialists in the field of logistics earn an average of 6 million soums, while most of them work remotely.
Rapid retraining for professions in demand on the labor market, using existing courses, can become the most important factor in improving living conditions. In this case, the government’s allocation of subsidies and preferential loans for educational courses solves half the problem. At the same time, everyone needs to understand that he has a wide range of opportunities in choosing a profession and field of activity. In such conditions, it is necessary to strive for the intended goal, and provide colleagues and family members with all possible support, which is very important in this process.
