Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Ilyas Nurimbetov has been appointed as the director of the branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Assistance in Karakalpakstan.
He is a graduate of the Nukus branch of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, where he completed his studies in 2008.
From 2008 to 2010, Nurimbetov pursued clinical residency at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
Ilyas Nurimbetov began his professional career as a doctor in the emergency medical department of the Research Center for Emergency Medical Assistance in Nukus, later becoming the head of the department.
Before his new appointment, Nurimbetov served as the head of the Department of Quality Control of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan in Karakalpakstan.
As the new head of the branch, he will face key tasks, including improving the responsiveness and quality of the "103" emergency service, which currently operates 162 medical teams in Karakalpakstan.
Priority areas will also include enhancing the digitalization of the system, implementing international practices, and improving the qualifications of staff to meet modern standards.
