Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Navoi region, National Guard officers identified an offense related to the illegal trafficking of pyrotechnic products. 

According to information received during operational and preventive measures, in the city of Navoi, in a parking lot on I. Karimov Street, 24 blocks of “Treniye” pyrotechnic products (a total of 240 boxes), in which there were 13 200 units of firecrackers. Those seized as material evidence were documented in the prescribed manner with the participation of witnesses.

An investigation into this fact is underway.

Similar operational and preventive measures are being carried out in Jizzakh region. Here, in the regional center, when checking the information received, it turned out that citizen I.A. was engaged in transporting pyrotechnic products “Treniye” for further sale. 

150 boxes worth a total of 2,700,000 soums were found and seized from I.A. (a total of 8,250 boxes of 55 firecrackers each). This fact was also documented in the presence of witnesses. A pre-investigation investigation into this fact is underway.
