Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An illegal mining farm was discovered in Samarkand, which operated on the territory of a furniture production workshop.

Specialists from Uzenergoinspektsiya, with the support of law enforcement agencies and experts from Regional Electric Networks JSC, identified an illegal mining farm.

Some 47 pieces of mining equipment were found at the enterprise.

The damage from the illegal activities of the farm is estimated at more than 9.8 billion soums.

The documents have been sent to law enforcement agencies.
