Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a preliminary investigation, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Kashkadarya region uncovered an unauthorized nut production workshop in a residential house in the "Naksheb" neighborhood of Karshi.

The workshop was operated by individuals, including a citizen identified as A.N., without proper state registration.

The workshop had illegally connected to the public gas network and misused natural gas worth 232.8 million soums.

An investigation has been initiated under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft), and further legal actions are underway.
