Ilhom Nematov heads embassy of Uzbekistan in USA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ilhom Nematov headed diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in the USA, the official website of the embassy of the country in Washington said.
Ilhom Nematov replaced Abdulaziz Kamilov at this post, who worked as envoy to the USA from October 2003 to January 2010.
Abdulaziz Kamilov was appointed as First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan in line with the presidential resolution on 20 January.
Prior to his appointment, Ilhom Nematov was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia.
