Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has arrived in Uzbekistan for a state visit.

Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other high-ranking officials greeted President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan upon his arrival at Tashkent International Airport.

During his stay in Tashkent, the program includes high-level negotiations and the first meeting of the High-Level Intergovernmental Council, chaired by the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The summit’s agenda will focus on further deepening and expanding the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
