Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Ignatiy Nesterov received knee injury and he will fly to Germany on 2 September for surgery.

The federation said that Ignatiy Nesterov will miss the rest of the season as he will need at least four months to recovery. Bunyodkor also confirmed that the player will not be available this season.

Uzbekistan will play against Jordan within the play-off matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September. Amman will host the first leg on 6 September and Tashkent will receive the second leg on 10 September.
