The management of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications told about development of information and communication technologies in Uzbekistan, about the ongoing work in this direction, the press service of the Ministry of Finance informs.

Guests received information about the newly created Innovation Center named after Mirzo Ulugbek, about the activities and future plans of the Center.

In this connection, it was suggested to consider the issue of establishing cooperation with the World Bank on attracting investments and supporting know-how for creating a venture capital ecosystem and supporting IT startups within this center.

The Uzbek side also voiced proposals for cooperation with the World Bank in the field of development of information and communication technologies, including support for the development of electronic commerce, Big Data, etc.

The parties agreed to continue their views for further development of mutually beneficial forms of cooperation.
