ICT Ministry, Inha University discuss launching new educational programs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 December 2017, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Vice President of Inha University in South Korea Inkyo Cheong, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

At the meeting, the sides noted their satisfaction with successful completion of “3+1” program, in line with which 100 fourth-year students of Inha University studied in South Korea within one academic year.

At the end of June 2017, 99 students of School of Computer and Information Engineering (SOCIE) arrived in Incheon to study at Inha University in the Republic of Korea. They studied within the “3 + 1” program in the Republic of Korea, which envisages that students study three years at Inha University in Tashkent and one year at Inha University in the Republic of Korea.

Students from Uzbekistan obtained knowledge from highly skilled professors of Inha University in the Republic of Korea within two semesters.

Last week, a solemn ceremony of completion of one-year academic program took place in Incheon. Management of two universities, professors and students attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, students received certificates of completion of the program. The Uzbek students returned to Uzbekistan on 22 December.

During the conversation, issues of further development of Inha University in Tashkent were discussed. In particular, the sides agreed plans for opening of new Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at Tashkent-based university.
