Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 11 December, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the General Director of the Veon Group of Companies Kaan Terzioglu.

Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Telecommunications Infrastructure J.Makhsudov noted that our country has created ample opportunities for the further development of the telecommunications market, attracting investments in the ICT sphere, in particular, for the effective operation of mobile operators.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the implementation of information technologies, the latest mobile technologies and the further development of cooperation.

The parties noted the high potential for developing cooperation and expressed their readiness to mobilize all efforts to develop partnerships in the field of information technology.

During the meeting, promising areas of mutual interest were discussed, including the expansion of comprehensive cooperation in ICT issues and other important issues.
