Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A meeting between the Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Sadikov and the Director of the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau Mario took place in Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) in the framework of the 2019 World Radiocommunication Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Manevich.

During the meeting, issues aimed at further developing and expanding cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union and the Ministry of Information Technology Development were discussed.

At the meeting, it was noted that the Republic of Uzbekistan is a full member of the international treaty - the ITU Radio Regulations, governing the use of the radio frequency spectrum at the international level.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct relevant work to exchange experience and expand cooperation in promising areas of bilateral cooperation, including on ICT issues.
