As Sherzod Shermatov noted, today information, communication and digital technologies are increasingly penetrating all sectors of the economy and spheres of society.

“If earlier everyone was surprised that the applicant chooses the IT field at the university, there was a prejudice that this would not be necessary, but now no one doubts that this area concerns all areas of life. And the coronavirus pandemic has proven it. Now the salaries of IT specialists are quite competitive, you can earn up to 4 thousand dollars a month. And the demand for IT specialists is great. Now, for example, there are more than 440 vacancies on the market in various IT companies of Uzbekistan,” Shavkat Shermatov said.

During the presentation, serious attention was paid to the opportunities and prospects for youth in the field of ICT. Young people who decide to master IT specialties receive a number of advantages, be it high wages, interesting projects, the opportunity to work in comfortable conditions, including remotely.

Among the important advantages are also wide opportunities for the export of IT-goods and services. In this context, it is very important to develop such a promising IT direction as outsourcing of business processes.
