Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Agricultural machinery and technologies will soon be produced in Uzbekistan in partnership with the South Korean company Hyundai Agricultural Machinery.
Officials from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture held a meeting with the company’s director, O. Park, where they discussed proposals for developing agricultural cooperation between the two countries, as well as promising projects that would be mutually beneficial.
During the meeting, it was announced that Hyundai Agricultural Machinery will be involved in the production of equipment for harvesting potatoes, onions, carrots, and other agricultural crops, as well as technologies for their processing, packaging, and storage.
The parties discussed the introduction of Korean machinery and technologies into Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to jointly produce agricultural equipment and technologies according to Korean standards with local manufacturers for the extraction, processing, packaging, and storage of agricultural products.
