Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the State Unitary Enterprise "Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology" under the University of Geological Sciences of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Mining and Geology with a delegation from South Korean company ERG Inc., led by CEO Na Kyung Won.

During the meeting, the parties explored opportunities for implementing projects in Uzbekistan aimed at treating highly saline water, commercializing and recreationally utilizing water resources, and purifying groundwater. These initiatives are supported by UNDP and the Korean organization KOTRA.

Additionally, discussions focused on the potential supply and use of advanced Korean equipment to address geo-environmental challenges in Uzbekistan. The meeting highlights growing interest in collaboration between Uzbekistan and South Korea in water management and environmental protection.
