Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the President of the World Aquatics Federation (World Aquatics) Hussein Al Musallam and the President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Osama Al Shafar arrived in Tashkent. Preparations for the Asian Youth Games Tashkent 2025 were discussed with the guests of honor.

The official guests were met by the Minister of Sports Adham Ikramov. The meeting, held at the Ministry, was also attended by the Secretary General of the NOC Oybek Kasimov and the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Azizjon Kamilov.

At the beginning of the conversation, Adham Ikramov spoke about the attention paid at the State level to preparations for the upcoming Games, about the construction of the Olympic village, which was taken under the personal control of the President. Then the expected dates of the starts and sports that will be included in the Tashkent-2025 program were considered. During the conversation, Oybek Kasimov introduced those present to the types of sports and objects, and each discipline was analyzed separately.

It is important to note that Hussein Al Musallam praised the preparation process. He expressed confidence that the new Arenas under construction will reveal young stars of the Asian continent. Also, the General Director of the OCA gave his recommendations on anti-doping issues and equipping facilities with modern technology.

According to the plan, foreign experts will go to the Olympic Village to directly familiarize themselves with the construction process.
