Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Payment systems HUMO and UnionPay International signed a memorandum of cooperation, according to which a UnionPay-HUMO co-branding card will be developed.
Today in Shanghai (PRC), Executive Director of UnionPay International Wang Lixin and General Director of the National Interbank Processing Center (HUMO payment system) Shukhrat Kurbanov signed a memorandum of cooperation.
This partnership aims to expand non-cash payments in Uzbekistan and will provide new payment opportunities both in the country and abroad.
UnionPay has over 230 million cards covering 81 countries, providing convenient payment to users in various parts of the world.
Over 23 million cards have been issued by the National Payment System HUMO, providing the ability to make payments at more than 200 thousand terminals and withdraw cash at more than 12,000 ATMs throughout the country.
